Abstract
English

This study was conducted to examine the average learning outcomes of students' mathematics when applied. Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Learning Model in learning mathematics Social Arithmetic material. The research design used is: Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this study were all VII grade classes at SMP Negeri 3 Bolaang while the samples taken in this study were VII C class with 20 students as the experimental class and VII A class as the control class with 20 students. The results of the analysis of this study showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class was 84.2 while the average posttest score of the control class was 72. This is evidenced by the hypothesis test using the t-test with α = 0.05 where tcount> ttable is obtained, namely 8.562> 1.729 with a significant value (2 tailed) 0.000 <0.05. So that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that based on these results, the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Learning model can improve student learning outcomes.
