Peranan Balai Pemasyarakatan Kendari dalam Pembimbingan Terhadap Anak Pelaku Tindak Pidana Narkotika

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the role of Correctional Guidance in guiding the perpetrators of underage narcotics crimes according to Law Number 11 of 2012. This type of research is a type of normative research and Sociological empirical research with data sources, namely informants from correctional centers and literature related to secondary data. Data collection was done through interviews, documentation studies were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study revealed that; The role of the Correctional Center for Class II Kendari in broad outline has a similar role in each stage of the legal path through which the child's clients are conducting supervision, mentoring, mentoring and conducting community research. This is what distinguishes between cases of children and cases of adults, where police who investigate cases of children are prohibited from wearing police clothing, judges are prohibited from using toga and clerks are prohibited from using suits to protect child psychology.
