Abstract

Abstract: This goal of this researchare to identify areas that are the center of development or development priorities in Bombana Regency. The study uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Bombana Regency and consists of data on natural resources, social and economic facilities. The analytical method used is the analysis of natural resource hierarchy, scalogram and parallel flow system. Based on the results of the analysis obtained areas that become development priorities are potential, critical and strategic areas. Potential areas are priorities in development because they are rich and developed regions so that they can quickly increase the growth of their region and the other surrounding areas. The critical regions are the poor and disadvantaged region because they have little natural resource potential and poor social and economic facilities. Therefore, these regions must continue to be encouraged and provided assistance to continuously improve their potential. The strategy that can be implemented is to increase human resources. For strategic areas, development priorities are focused on the aspects that are still lacking, namely aspects of social and economic facilities. Keyword: Region, Growth and Development
