Abstract

Abstract: The results of several studies show that the results of the Wanggu River drainage area such as changes in land use into residential areas are quite fast, causing problems such as erosion and sedimentation indicated by eroded cliffs, erosion of grooves and ditches on the ground, and sedimentation in river bodies and Kendari Bay.This study aims to assess the erosion hazard level and analyze the distribution of erosion hazard levels and determine suitable land conservation directives in the Amohalo watershed. This study uses the USLE method with equation A = R.K.L.S.C.P by combining the value of the depth of the soil solum and comparing the potential erosion value of the permissible erosion. The results showed that there is 1 unit of land that has a very severe erosion hazard level which is generally spread in Mokoau and Lamokula villages, and 11 land units that have very mild erosion hazard levels which are generally spread in the Baruga and Konda Districts.Whereas land conservation directives carried out in the Amohalo River Subdistrict namely shrub land use are directed to be used as high density mixed gardens and others are converted into forests, making construction bench terraces both on mixed garden land use and other mixed gardens directed to be made forest back. Keywords: Erosion, USLE, Land Conservation
