Abstract

Sea water intrusion is the entry or infiltration of seawater into the pores of therock and contaminates the ground water contained in, it cause groundwater to turn into brackish water or even salt water. The Tomia Timur District is one of the regions that has the most ground water along the coast of Tomia Timur District. This study aims to determine the physical and chemical conditions of subsequent consumption water, to determine the distribution of seawater intrusion levels in Tomia Timur District. Data in thas study is analized by using interpolation with kriging analysis so that it can map the distribution of sea water intrusion, The results of the study it the distribution of consumption water in Tomia Timur District has different, physically and chemically conditions in eveny station. Level of intrusion is dividend in to 3 clases are For the most dominant medium class in Tiroau Village with an average salinity value of 4% - 10%, the most dominant low class in Patipelong Village with an average salinity value of 0% - 5%, and the most dominant very low class in Kelurahan Bahari with an average salinity value of 0%. Electrical Conductivit (EC) or electrical conductivity (DHL) of consumption water in the study area shows that study area is not polluted with sea water intrusion. Keywords:Intrusion, Salinity, DHL, Tomia Timur District
