Abstract

HAHT (Human Altered-Human Transported) soil is soil formed as a result of anthropogenic intervention. The land developed following the pattern of human needs that were suspected of having various problems and impacting the environment sustainability. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of HAHT soil characteristics on environmental sustainability. The method used in this research is survey and laboratory test. The results showed that human intervention has a real influence on the soil. HAHT soil characteristics ultimately affect soil function and adversely affect environmental sustainability. Keywords: HAHT Soil, Soil characteristic, Environmental sustainability.
