HUBUNGAN KECEPATAN LOMPAT KANGGURU 20 METER DENGAN KEMAMPUAN LOMPAT JAUH PADA SISWA SMP NEGERI 4 RAHA

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Correlation between the kangaroo jump speed of 20 meters and the long jump ability of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Raha. The sample in this study were 32 students who were obtained through purposive sampling technique. The instrument used to measure the kangaroo jump speed of 20 meters using a kangaroo jump speed test of 20 meters. Meanwhile, the long jump ability uses the long jump test. The research data were analyzed using thecorrelation statistics product moment at a significant level of 0.05. Where the results of this study with a value of rxy (0.44) the value of rtable (0.349). This means that there is a significant Correlation between the relationship between the kangaroo jump speed of 20 meters and the long jump ability of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Raha. The coefficient of determination (r2) is 0.19, in other words 19% of the contribution of long jump ability is determined by the kangaroo jump speed of 20 meters.
