Abstract

The relationship between height and shooting accuracy in the game of Petanque at Club Anoa Kendari. Supervisor I, Mr. La Sawali, Supervisor II, Mr. Abdul Saman. Department of Health and Recreation Physical Education. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Halu Oleo University, Kendari.The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between height and shooting accuracy in petanque sports at Club Anoa Kendari. The population in this study were those who were active in training at Club Anoa Kendari, and the researchers used the total sampling theory of the entire population as samples. The instrument used to see the height is the stadiomete / meter test. Meanwhile, to measure the accuracy of shooting using a shooting game station. The results obtained from testing the hypothesis, height has a relationship with the accuracy of shooting in petanque sports at the Anoa Kendari club, where understanding (rxy) = 0.45 rtab value ɑ (0.05 = 0.444) with a coefficient of determination = 0.20 or 20%.Based on data analysis, in this study it can be denied that there is a significant relationship height and accuracy in shooting in petanque sports at the Anoa Kendari club.
