PEMAHAMAN ARSITEK VERNAKULAR MODEREN TERHADAP STRUKTUR BAWAH BANGUNAN RUMAH TOKO

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini penting dilaksanakan sebagai berikut: (1) Pengetahuan bangunan arsitek vernakular moderenterformulasi tetapi tidak tertulis; (2) Arsitektur neo vernakular adalah arsitektur vernakular moderen denganarsitek para pekerja bangunan moderen; (3) Struktur bangunan vernakular responsif terhadap bencana alamgempa bumi; (4) Pembangunan ruko cukup menguntungkan. Di Kota Kendari bangunan-bangunan moderenseperti ruko cenderung diciptakan oleh arsitek vernakular moderen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untukmemformulasikan pengetahuan arsitek vernakular moderen dalam menciptakan struktur bawah ruko dua lantai.Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Objek arsitektural yang dipilih adalahstruktur bawah ruko dua lantai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif.Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan diskusi mendalam terhadap pekerja bangunan.Teknik analisis menggunakan deskriptif naratif. Berdasarkan uraian di atas penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwaarsitek vernakular moderen dalam menciptakan struktur bawah bangunan berlantai dua dibuat dengan formulacepat, mudah, ekonomis, dan tepat.Kata kunci: Arsitek neo vernakular, struktur bawah, ruko dua lantai.ABSTRACTIt is important to carry out this research as follows: (1) The knowledge of modern vernacular architects isformulated but not written; (2) Neo vernacular architecture is modern vernacular architecture with architects ofmodern building workers; (3) The vernacular structure is responsive to earthquake natural disasters; (4) Theconstruction of shop houses is quite profitable. In Kendari City, modern buildings such as shop houses tend to becreated by modern vernacular architects. The purpose of this research is to formulate the knowledge of modernvernacular architects in creating the substructure of a two-story shophouse. This type of research is a case studywith a qualitative approach. The architectural object chosen is the structure under a two-story shophouse. Themethod of data collection is done by means of observation and in-depth discussion of construction workers. Theanalysis technique uses descriptive narrative. Based on the description above, this research concludes thatmodern vernacular architects in creating the substructure of a two-story building are made with a quick, easy,economical, and precise formula.Keywords: Neo vernacular architect, substructure, two storey shophouse.
