KONSEP RUANG BERMUKIM MASYARAKAT ABELI DI KECAMATAN ABELI KOTA KENDARI

Abstract

ABSTRAK Abeli memiliki karakteristik ruang permukiman pesisir dan dataran rendah serta wilayah perbukitan dengan topografi perbukitan yang bergelombang. Keragaman suku bangsa yang menghuni menyebabkan keragaman sosial budaya dan ekonomi masyarakatnya. Keragaman komunitas yang heterogen berbaur membangun kawasan permukiman dengan latar belakang kehidupan yang beragam pula. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsep ruang bermukim masyarakat di Kecamatan Abeli dengan berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Analisis SIG dengan Teknik Overlay menggunakan software Arc-Gis 10.3 digunakan untuk mengetahui pola permukiman dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep ruang permukiman di Kecamatan Abeli yaitu ruang permukiman pesisir dengan pola sejajar dan memanjang mengikuti garis pantai dan ruang permukiman perbukitan dengan pola sejajar dan memanjang mengikuti jalan dan sebagian tersebar menjauh dari prasarana jalan. Konsep ruang bermukim masyarakat di Kecamatan Abeli dipengaruhi oleh faktor fisik lingkungan/Topografi, sosial budaya, sejarah, ekonomi dan kerawanan bencana. Kata Kunci: Konsep ruang, permukiman, Abeli ABSTRACT Abeli has the characteristics of coastal settlements and low-lying areas and hilly areas with uneven, steep topography. The diversity of ethnic groups that inhabit causes the socio-cultural and economic diversity of the people. Diverse heterogeneous communities mingle to build residential areas with different backgrounds in life. This research aims to determine the concepts of community-living spaces in Abeli District with various factors affecting them. This research uses a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The GIS analysis with Overlay Technique using Arc-Gis 10.3 software is used to determine settlement patterns and influencing factors. The results showed that the concept of residential space in Abeli Subdistrict is coastal settlement space with parallel and elongated patterns following the coastline and hilly residential areas with parallel and elongated patterns following the road and partially spread away from the road infrastructure. The concept of community-living spaces in Abeli District is influenced by physical/environmental topography, socio-cultural, historical, economic and disaster vulnerability.
