Abstract

This study aims to determine the socio-economic conditions of Ratu Ampat tourism objects and to determine the impact of Ratu Ampat tourism objects on the socio-economic conditions of people’s lives. In this study used descriptive qualitative research methods. Determination of informants in this study using purposive sampling methods. As for the data sources used in this study, namely primary data and secondary data. As for the data collection techniques in this study using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study used dara reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the socio-economic conditions of the Ratu Ampat tourism object in the impact of the Ratu Ampat tourism object on the socio-economic conditions of people’s lives are threefold, namely physical aspects, accessibility, and tourist attraction objects. As for the impact of the Ratu Ampat tourism object on the socio-economic conditions of people’s lives, there are four namely the transformation of livelihoods, transfo rmation of norms, absorption of labor, and increased education.
