IMPLEMENTASI STRATEGI DINAS SOSIAL DALAM PENANGGANAN PEYANDANG DISABILITAS DI KOTA KENDARI PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGGARA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of social service strategy in dealing whit the problem of persons whit disabilities in the city of Kendari. This study uses a purposive sampling method and the informant in this study is the head of the department. Head of rehabilitation, head of rehabilitation section, social worker, and 5 families of people whit disabilities. The data sources used in this study are primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques in this study using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the social service strategy in handling persons whit disabilities is to provide Atensi assistance (social rehabilitation assistance) where this assistance is in the from of hearing aids, smart sticks and cash assistance.
