PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN JAGUNG MANIS (ZEA MAYS SACCHARATA STURT) PADA PEMBERIAN BOKASHI DAN PUPUK NITROPHOSKA

Abstract

The research aims to determinate the effect of giving foster beans bokashi (Colopogonium mucunoides) and nitrophoska fertilizer on the growth of sweet corn plant. The research was carried out in experimental garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Haluoleo University from october to Desember 2022. The research was carried out using a randomized block design in a factorial pattern consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is bokashi which consists of 4 levels: without giving, bokashi 7,5 t ha-1, bokashi 15 t ha-1, and bokashi 22,5 t ha-1. The second factor consist of 3 levels: without giving, giving 75 kg ha-1, and giving 150 kg ha-1. Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that there were 36 experimental units. The variables observed include plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf area, shoot root ratio, and plant dry weight. The observation data was analyzed using analysis of variance and because the treatment had a significant effect, it was continued with the Duncant Multiple Distance Test at a confidence level of 95%. The results showed that there was no interaction, however nitrophoska fertilizer independently has a significant effect. The best dose was obtained at 150 kg ha-1 giving the highest growth Keywords: Bokashi, Growth, Nitrophoska, Sweet Corn.
