Abstract

This research aims to determine the efficacy of indigenous Trichoderma spp. isolates from Southeast Sulawesi in improving the viability and resistance of local Muna tomato varieties against Fusarium wilt disease. The study was conducted at the Plant Protection Laboratory, Phytopathology Unit, and Field Laboratory, Field 2, Faculty of Agriculture, Halu Oleo University. The research was carried out in two stages: stage 1 involved seed viability selection using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 12 treatments replicated three times. In stage 2, a Randomized Block Design (RBD) was used, employing the five best isolates from stage 1 and a control, with each treatment repeated three times. The results of stage 1 showed that the best isolates were LPS, ASL, LTB, DPA, and DKP. The results of stage 2 indicated that the best Trichoderma spp. isolates for tomato plant viability and resistance against Fusarium wilt disease were LPS and ASL
