Abstract
Kata kunci: Stunting, Penyakit infeksi, pola pemberian MP-ASI, pendapatan keluarga Abstract Children who are malnourished, frequently infected, and not given enough psychological stimulus will experience stunting (a developmental problem). Stunting is long-term malnutrition, usually caused by the consumption of food that does not meet nutritional needs. Infection, bad diet, nursing, and family and household variables. In 2022, the Marobo Health Center will conduct this research to identify risk factors for stunting in infants aged 6 to 24 months. A measured analysis is what makes this type of inquiry an analytical study. Observational analytic, namely research with a cross-sectional study design using univariate tests and bivariate tests. All infants in the operating area of the Marobo Health Center between the ages of 6 and 24 months became the study demographic, and 78 responses were sampled. non-probability sampling strategy combined with accidental sampling technique The Chi-Square statistical test showed a relationship between the frequency of stunting in infants aged 6 to 24 months and the prevalence of viral or infectious diseases (p = 0.004), MP-ASI (p = 0.002), and family income or wealth (p = 0.009). A total of 78 participants were surveyed in 2022 about the prevalence of stunting in children aged 6–24 months in the service area of the Marobo Health Center, Muna District, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Based on these findings, I conclude that infectious diseases, patterns of complementary feeding, and family income all play a role in the prevalence of stunting in this age group. Keyword: stunting, infectious diseases, patterns of giving MP-ASI, family incom.
