Abstract
Abstract The goal of vaccination is to proactively boost a person's immunity against a disease. According to the WHO, tetanus, measles, and diphtheria vaccinations may reduce the risk of infection-related neonatal mortality by roughly 42%. Jati Raya Health Center has not yet achieved Universal Child Immunization (UCI), according to the statistics received, as just 33% of the objective had been met. Several reasons contribute to Puskesmas Jati Raya's poor basic vaccination coverage. The goal of the research was to identify the variables involved in administering Complete Basic Immunization (IDL) to babies older than 11 months in the operating area of the Jati Raya Health Center in Kendari City in 2022. This study's cross-sectional strategy and statistical tests, which included the chi square test and the accidental sampling procedure, included 80 participants. Questionnaires were utilized as the tool. According to the findings, there was a correlation between maternal education level and having received all recommended childhood vaccinations (p value 0.016 0.05). There is a correlation between knowing and having had all recommended childhood vaccinations (p = 0.008–0.05). Maternal work level and full basic vaccination are correlated (p value 0.000 to 0.05). The function of vaccination officers and the comprehensiveness of the basic immunization are unrelated (p value 0.421 0.05). The findings of this research demonstrate that characteristics such as knowledge, educational attainment, and job position have an impact on the extent of basic vaccination in the working area of Jati Raya Health Center in Kendari City.
