GAMBARAN PENGETAHUAN DAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA PADA IBU MENYUSUI DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS WUA-WUA KECAMATAN WUA-WUA KOTA KENDARI

Abstract

Abstrak Status Kesehatan bayi merupakan salah satu indikator kesehatan masyarakat. Bayi harus terkontrol pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya utamanya enam bulan pertama kehidupannya. Air Susu Ibu (ASI) mengandung semua zat gizi dan cairan yang dibutuhkan bayi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gizi di 6 bulan pertamanya. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi cakupan bayi mendapat asi ekslusif antara lain: rendahnya pendidikan, kurangnya pengetahuan, pengaruh budaya, pekerjaan, kurangnya peran tenaha kesehatan, sikap. Tujuan peneitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan dan dukungan keluarga pada ibu menyusui di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Wua-Wua Kecamatan Wua-Wua Kota Kendari. Metode Penelitian ini survei deskriptif dengan sampel 30 orang ibu menyusui, tehnik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki pengetahuan cukup yaitu 25 responden (83,25%), kurang sebanyak 5 responden (16,65%). Berdasarkan dukungan keluarga terdapat 14 responden memiliki dukungan keluarga baik (46,62%) dan terdapat 16 responden memiliki dukungan keluarga yang buruk (53,28%). Disarankan agar dilakukan upaya promotif dan preventif Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan dukungan keluarga pada ibu yang memberi ASI Ekslusif. Babies' development and growth must be documented, especially during the first six months of life. Mother's Milk (ASI) contains all the nutrients and fluids a baby needs to meet the nutritional needs of its first 6 months. Low levels of education, a lack of awareness, cultural effects, employment, a lack of the role of health professionals, and attitudes are some of the variables which have an impact on the coverage of infants who are exclusively breastfed. The purpose of this study was to describe knowledge and family support for breastfeeding mothers in the working area of the Wua-Wua Health Center, Wua-Wua District, Kendari City. This research method is a descriptive survey with a sample of 30 breastfeeding mothers, the sampling technique was carried out by simple random sampling. The results showed that respondents had sufficient knowledge, namely 25 respondents (83.25%), less than 5 respondents (16.65%). Based on family support, there were 14 respondents who had good family support (46.62%) and there were 16 respondents who had poor family support (53.28%). It is advised that child and maternal health promotion and prevention activities be carried out to promote family awareness of and support for moms who provide exclusive breastfeeding.
