Abstract

Stunting is a serious public health problem with a reasonably high prevalence, and this is generally caused by children who lack nutritional intake in the first 1000 days of life. Lack of fulfilment of nutritional information is a complex and multi-sectoral problem, and this is an activity in community empowerment by selecting groups vulnerable to stunting conditions. Targeted in this activity are groups of pregnant women. The method in this activity is to provide socialization related to stunting prevention and the concept of Family Farming. Six families of target pregnant women were then given seeds and planting media. Furthermore, monitoring was carried out on the development of vegetable crops given to the target group. It was found that the family could use the vegetables delivered to meet the family’s vegetable intake. Keywords: family farming, vegetable consumption, stunting prevention
