FACTORS RELATED TO SEXUAL HARASSMENT OF STUDENTS MAN 1 KENDARI IN 2021 (CASE STUDY)

Abstract

Sexual harassment is a form of insulting or looking down on someone in relation to sex, gender, or sexual activity between men and women. This study aims to determine the main factors related to sexual harassment of MAN 1 Kendari students in 2021. This research is quantitative with a cross-sectional study analytical approach and this type of research emphasizes the timing of measuring dependents and independent variables that are valued at the same time according to the circumstances at the time of observation. The technique of taking non probability sampling is of the convenience sampling type in this study. The results of the study found that there was no relationship between knowledge and sexual harassment behavior (p-Value = 0.967), and there was a relationship between attitudes and sexual harassment behavior (p-Value = 0.000).It can be concluded that the sexual harassment behavior of MAN 1 Kendari students is not influenced by knowledge, but the attitude towards sexual harassment is not good
