Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 or COVID-19 is a new type that attacks the respiratory system and is currently a worldwide pandemic including Indonesia. To detect diseaseprone environments can be done using remote sensing technology (remote sensing) and Geographic Information System (GIS) which is a system that is able to process, repair, update and analyze data. This research aims to find out the Mapping Picture of potential risks of spreading COVID-19 with a geographical information system in Baruga district of Kendari City in 2020. This type of descriptive research with spatial analysis. Sample in this study is a positively confirmed case of COVID-19 in Baruga sub-district as many as 105 people recorded in the Southeast Provincial Health Office from November to December 2020 The results showed that areas that have high potential risk based on population mobility, namely Baruga village, are obtained z-score values-10,21 Patterns tend to form Clusters in certain places such as markets, mosques and supermarkets, but if they do not calculate the area buffer area in get a value of z-score 13.92 the pattern is spread in all directions, while for population density the potential area is a new village with a total of 41 cases, in get a z-score value of 18.40 the pattern tends to form Clusters, but if you do not calculate the area of the area in get the value z-score 30,05 scattered patterns. Researchers hope this study can provide benefits in order to know the picture of areas that are very vulnerable to COVID-19and as a reference in prevention efforts, especially areas that have the potential to spread COVID-19
