Abstract

Kata kunci: Etnomatematika, Permainan Tradisional Anak Abstract: This study aims to analyze the concept of geometrical ethnomatematics contained in the traditional games of the children of the South Poogalampa community of Buton. The data collection technique of this study was a semi-structured interview. Checking the validity of the data is done by triangulating the source. The results of the study showed that in the traditional games of children of the South Poogalampa community of Buton, there are several geometric shapes containing concepts: (a) Ball; (b) Trapezoid; (c) Rectangle; (d) Triangles. The concept of geometry used in traditional games of the children of South Poogalampa community of Buton has similarities with the concept of formal mathematics in elementary schools. Keywords: Ethnomatematics, Traditional Games of Children
