Abstract

The community in Lambusa Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province has never received socialization about herbal medicine making, so Halu Oleo University Thematic KKN Students held a socialization about herbal medicine processing. The method used in carrying out herbal treatment for the people of Lambusa Village uses the lecture method, namely by explaining various information about the use of herbal plants. The results of the discussion after the socialization of instant herbal medicine, the people who attended the socialization understood the material provided. Traditional herbal medicine in liquid form has the disadvantage that it is not durable, because it is easily overgrown with bacteria and fungi. So that the innovation of making instant herbal medicine powder can be a solution so that this herbal medicine can be stored longer and can become a commodity for traditional medicinal products. Jamu which is packaged in the form of today's products is an opportunity to elevate Indonesian herbal medicines into products that are beneficial to health.
