PENINGKATAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI ANAK USIA DINI MELALUI METODE PEMBIASAAN

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kepercayaan diri anak usia dini melalui metode pembiasaan di Taman Kanak-kanak ‘Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfal 2 Purworejo tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian anak kelompok B3 di TK ABA 2 Purworejo sejumlah 15 anak yang terkait dengan percaya diri anak. Metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data mengunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pelaksanaan metode pembiasaan diawali guru menjelaskan kegiatan yang akan dilakukan oleh anak, guru memberi contoh kegiatan, guru mempersilahkan anak yang akan menceritakan hasil karyanya tunjuk tangan, anak maju di depan, saat kesulitan menyampaikan makna guru menstimulasi dengan memberikan pertanyaan. Anak bertanggung jawab membereskan mainan. Bentuk penguatan, anak diberi reward berupa pujian, thos, jempol, dan tepuk tangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode pembiasaan dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak. Kata kunci: percaya diri, metode pembiasaan ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the increase in self-confidence of young children through habituation methods at the 'Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfal 2 Purworejo Kindergarten in the 2022/2023 academic year. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research subjects of group B3 children at TK ABA 2 Purworejo were 15 children who were related to children's self-confidence. Data collection methods through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive methods. The implementation of the habituation method begins with the teacher explaining the activities that will be carried out by the child, the teacher gives examples of activities, the teacher invites the child who will tell the story of his work to show his hand, the child comes forward, when he has difficulty conveying the meaning the teacher stimulates him by asking questions. Children are responsible for cleaning up toys. As a form of reinforcement, children are given rewards in the form of praise, high fives, thumbs up and applause. The research results show that the habituation method can increase children's self-confidence. Keywords: self-confidence, habituation method
