REST AREA DI KABUPATEN KONAWE

Abstract

ABSTRAKTempat istirahat atau dikenal secara lebih luas sebagai Rest Area adalah tempat beristirahat sejenak untuk melepaskan kelelahan, kejenuhan, ataupun ke toilet selama dalam perjalanan jarak jauh. Tempat istirahat ini banyak ditemukan di jalan tol ataupun dijalan nasional dimana para pengemudi jarak jauh beristirahat. Kabupaten Konawe adalah salah satu kabupaten yang terletak di provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara dengan Ibukota Unaaha terletak 73 Km dari Kota Kendari. Dengan memilih jalur darat provinsi dalam melakukan perjalanan jauh dari kota Kendari-Kolaka maka tentunya kita akan melewati beberapa kecamatan di kabupaten konawe yang sering digunakan sebagai tempat istirahat, contohnya di kecamatan Pondidaha terdapat tempat yang sering di jadikan tempat singgah bagi para pengemudi sebagai tempat untuk melepaskan rasa lelah yang sering disebut area PJR (Penjual Jagung Rebus) dan di Bendungan unaaha yang juga menyediakan tempat istirahat dengan adanya fasilitas gazebo yang sering disinggahi oleh para pengemudi. Diperlukan adanya Rest Area di Kabupaten Konawe yang tidak hanya sebagai tempat singgah atau tempat peristirahatan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana rekreasi untuk umum dimana di dalamnya telah tersedia berbagai macam fasilitas. Dengan adanya Rest Area yang dapat berfungsi sebagai tempat istirahat melepas kepenatan dan berekreasi, diharapkan akan dapat mengurangi angka kecelakaan dalam berkendara yang di akibatkan karena kelelahan diwaktu mengemudi. These rest areas are found on toll roads or national roads where long-distance drivers are resting. Konawe District is one of the regencies located in Southeast Sulawesi province with Unaaha Capital located 73 Km from Kendari City. By choosing the provincial land route to travel far from Kendari-Kolaka city then surely we will pass some districts in Konawe district which is often used as a resting place, for example in Pondidaha district there is a place that often made a place for layover for the driver as a place to release fatigue that is often called the area PJR (Boiled Corn Seller) and at the dam of unaaha which also provides a resting place with the gazebo facilities are often stopped by the driver. Rest Area in Konawe District is required not only as a place to stop or a resting place, but also as a public recreation facility where in it has available various facilities. With the Rest Area that can serve as a resting place to release fatigue and recreation, is expected to be able to reduce the number of accidents in driving which is caused due to fatigue while driving.
