Abstract

ABSTRAK Mode menjadi bagian yang tidak dapat dilepaskan dari penampilan dan gaya keseharian. Dunia mode indonesia berhasil menarik perhatian para desainer manca negara khususnya kota kendari tidak luput dari fashion trend yang berkembang saat ini. Penelitian ini ditujukan sebagai berikut (1) untuk merancang Pusat Mode dengan pendekatan Arsitektur Metafora yang dapat mewujudkan bangunan dengan fasilitas yang tepat dan memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat akan mode. (2) Untuk mengaplikasikan konsep Arsitektur metafora pada bentuk tampilan bangunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan, yaitu data dikumpulkan sesuai tujuan penelitian. Data diambil dengan studi literatur, pengumpulan data, survey, wawancara dan studi banding. Hasil dari penelitian disimpulkan bahwa lokasi berada di kecamatan Kambu kota Kendari, Pusat Mode berfungsi untuk mewadahi segala aktivitas yang berhubungan dengan fashion. Selain itu, pengaplikasian bentuk dan tampilan bangunan yang sesuai fungsi yang diwadahi dengan pertimbangan dan penerapan prinsip-prinsip arsitektur metafora. Kata kunci: Pusat mode, arsitektur metaforaABSTRACT Fashion becomes an inseparable part of everyday appearance and style. The Indonesian fashion world has succeeded in attracting the attention of foreign designers, especially the city of Kendari, not escape the fashion trends that are developing at this time. This research is aimed as follows (1) to design a Fashion Center with a Metaphorical Architecture approach that can create buildings with the right facilities and meet the community's need for fashion. (2) To apply the concept of metaphorical architecture to the appearance of buildings. This study uses a qualitative method with data collected according to the purpose of the study. Data is collected through literature studies, data collection, surveys, interviews and comparative studies. The results of the study concluded that the location is in the Kambu sub-district of Kendari, the Fashion Center serves to accommodate all activities related to fashion. In addition, the application of the shape and appearance of the building that fits the function is accommodated with consideration and application of the principles of architectural metaphors.
