Abstract
Therefore, one of the solutions to solve the problem is counseling to the community and the builders to increase the understanding of the builders and the community in Andoolo Utama Village, Buke Subdistrict, Konawe Selatan Regency who have been mixing materials from the Anese river as a concrete mixture without proper planning and calculation. From the results of the implementation of community service activities by the Team of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Halu Oleo Kendari obtained several conclusions that the community especially the builders have understood how to utilize the Anese gravel and sand material to be used as a mixture of structural concrete with a quality above K.225., The community especially the builders have understood that local material in the form of gravel and konawe sand can be used as structural concrete with K.225 quality, so that for buildings with structures that are not too heavy such as houses and shophouses, the use of these materials can already be met by paying attention to the composition the mixture has been explained by the extension team so that in the end it can have a better economic impact for the people of Andoolo Utama village, Buke sub-district, Konawe Selatan district.
