Abstract

Keberhasilan penerapan sistem informasi manajemen (SIM) sangat berpengaruh terhadap operasional suatu organisasi, terutama organisasi yang telah menggantungkan proses bisnisnya pada sistem tersebut. Oleh karenanya, penting bagi suatu organisasi mengidentifikasi hambatan dan tantangan dalam penerapan sistem tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor hambatan dan tantangan pelaksanaan penerapan sistem informasi manajemen rumah sakit (SIMRS). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif untuk menggali secara mendalam masalah yang menghambat penerapan SIMRS pada objek penelitian. Berdasarkan analisis domain, penelitian mengidentifikasi beberapa masalah yang menjadi penyebab yaitu infrastruktur yang kurang baik, komitmen sumber daya manusia (SDM), standar prosedur operasional (SPO) yang belum diterapkan, kejelasan tugas pokok dan fungsi, serta supervisi yang belum efektif, pengawasan dari pihak manajemen yang tidak dijalankan serta sistem eksternal sebagai penyebab belum optimalnya sistem informasi manajemen rumah sakit. AbstractThe successful implementation of a Management Information System (MIS) greatly affects the operations of an organization, especially organizations that have depended on their business processes on the system. Therefore, it is important for an organization to identify barriers and challenges in implementing the system. This study aims to determine the constraints and challenges of implementing the hospital management information system (HMIS). This research is a qualitative research to explore in depth the problems that hinder the application of hospital management information system to the object of research. Based on the domain analysis, the research identifies several problems that are the causes, namely poor infrastructure, commitment to human resources (HR), standard operating procedures (SOP) that have not been implemented, clarity of main tasks and functions, as well as ineffective supervision, supervision from parties. management that is not implemented as well as external systems as the cause of not optimal hospital management information system.
