Abstract

This article is about environment conservation practice by people of Kampung Mandori through Snap Mor Values. All data is collected and showed by qualitative descriptive method. Â The result is process of inheriting Snap Mor values to children in Kampung Mandori is supported by social institution such as tradition, religion, family and village itself. Children participate in sea conservation activities through regulations and restrictions in tradition Snap Mor. Purpose of this cultural tradition is to keep the sea ecosystem in its best condition. However, population growth and development progress making this tradition slowly abandoned.Keywords: Values Inheritance, Children, Environment Conservation, Kampung Mandori, Snap Mor
