Abstract

This research discuss about characters of congruence on Semigroup. It has a strong relationship with a particular relatio on Semigroup called equivalence relation.Suppose 𝐺,∗ is a Semigroup and 𝜌 is an equivalence relation on 𝐺. Relation 𝜌 is calledcongruence on 𝐺 if it satisfied these compatible properties as follow: ∀𝑎, ð‘, 𝑡 ∈ 𝐺. 𝑠𝜌 𝑡 (𝑎𝑠𝜌 𝑎𝑡 dan 𝑠𝑎 𝜌 𝑡𝑎 )Keywords: Semigroup, equivalence relation, congruence
