Abstract

The malaria medication card is a recording and reminder tool designed to improve treatment adherence and prevent relapse. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of using the card at the Arso Kota Health Center, Keerom Regency. This is a descriptive quantitative study involving 20 malaria patients during the period of January 5–25, 2026, selected via total sampling. Data were collected using observation sheets covering design clarity, comprehension, ease of use, and utilization. The results showed that the majority of respondents rated the card’s design as clear (85%) and easy to use (85%). Respondents' comprehension levels were high (40%), moderate (25%), and low (35%), with an 80% utilization rate. The study concludes that the medication card is feasible as a therapy monitoring tool. Health workers, volunteers, and families are expected to provide intensive assistance to optimize patient understanding and treatment adherence to achieve malaria elimination in the health center’s working area.
