Abstract The discipline and knowledge of each resident in undergoing self-isolation is different, there are residents who comply with the self-isolation protocol and there are residents who don't care about their own health and the health of others. The large number of COVID-19 sufferers, especially sufferers who have mild symptoms, are advised to self-isolate at home. The aim of this research is to design a door lock opener using body temperature for self-isolated patients so that they are not free to leave the isolation room so that people undergoing self-isolation can carry out self-isolation procedures in an orderly manner. Making this self-isolation room door unlocking tool uses the main electronic components, namely the Mlx Sensor which is used to detect the patient's body temperature, Nodemcu which functions to program the system into IoT which is connected to the doorlock solenoid. The LCD is used to display the output of body temperature measurement results. ESP32 Cam to detect objects and the results are displayed as photo objects to find out who accessed the self-isolation room door lock. This tool can detect body temperature, the results of which can be seen via a smartphone. If the temperature of a person in self-isolation is >37.5ºC, the doorlock solenoid will lock so that the person is not free to leave the room. By using the ESP32 Cam, you can find out who accessed the door key to the self-isolation room which is displayed in the photo object on the smartphone via the Blynk application.
