Abstract

Abstract: The first role of youth is to deepen their knowledge and return to the village to serve the community. The next role is to become a delegate and a leading representative in various competitions in community. The competition here should not be narrowly understood as ust a race. But how, the role of youth has reliable competitiveness in terms of quality and quantity. So that this village is taken into account by other communities and the government. The long-term target of this service is the birth of awareness and attitude of agents of change and controlling agents by village youth by preparing for the challenges of welcoming a change and the active role of youth is always expected, including in the development process in the village. The implementation of community service on the role of youth in the socio-economic development function of villages in Bone Regency, which was carried out to youth leaders of youth organizations, went well and smoothly. The program that has been implemented includes various activities. The conclusions of this activity are: (1) Participants were very enthusiastic in participating in this activity. (2) Participants feel that they have increased knowledge and skills in Socio-Economic Development in the Village, (3) Participants expect periodic and tiered activitiesKeywords: Youth, Village socio-economic development
