Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract This research aims to design, implement, and evaluate an Internet of Things (IoT)-based plant nursery monitoring application system as part of an effort to support Smart Village initiatives. The research method combines a Research and Development (R&D) approach for prototype development with Participatory Action Research (PAR) involving 30 farmers in Cot Baroh Village, Pidie, Aceh, during the implementation, training, and assistance process. The developed system is capable of monitoring various critical environmental parameters in the nursery in real-time, accessible via the Blynk application and an offline LCD. User experience evaluation was conducted using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The research results indicate that the IoT system prototype was successfully built and received a very positive user impression across all six UEQ aspects (attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty), with a high level of reliability for each aspect. It is concluded that this system is effective, well-received by users, and has significant potential to enhance the efficiency of plant nursery management, while also supporting the strengthening of digital literacy and the Smart Village concept at the community level.
