Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan dan mengkaji tentang pemanfaatan jaringan komunikasi dalam rekrutmen kader Partai Keadilan Sejahtera Sulawesi Selatan. Fokus penelitian ini berorientasi pada analisis model jaringan komunikasi, proses komunikasi dalam jaringan, pemanfaatan jaringan komunikasi, dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas pemanfaatan jaringan komunikasi dalam rekrutmen kader PKS. Penelitian ini merupakan studi jaringan komunikasi yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model jaringan komunikasi dalam rekrutmen kader PKS Sulsel dikembangkan dengan pola linear menggunakan kekuatan jaringan kader partai untuk menyentuh semua kalangan masyarakat. Proses pemanfaatan jaringan dimulai dengan sebelumnya membangun hubungan komunikasi yang efektif dalam jaringan. Pemanfaatan jaringan komunikasi ditingkatan kader partai pada umumnya diarahkan pada pembangunan jaringan komunikasi yang baru dimasyarakat. Pemanfaatan jaringan komunikasi dalam rekrutmen kader PKS Sulsel sangat dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, salah satu diantaranya adalah faktor pemahaman kader. Untuk itu, penting keberadaan sarana tarbiyah bagi PKS sebagai basis pembentukan pemahaman dan kepribadian kader terekrut. ABSTRACTThe aims of the research are to develop and to study the utilization of communication network in the recruitment of cadres of Partai Keadilan Sejahtera of South Sulawesi. The focus of the study is oriented towards communication network model analysis, communication process in the network, utilization of communication network, and factors affecting the effectiveness of communication network utilization in the recruitment of cadres of PKS. This study is a descriptive qualitative study on communication network. Data collection was conducted through observation and interviews. The results of the research indicated that communication network model in the recruitment of cadres of Partai Keadilan Sosial of South Sulawesi developed in linear pattern using the party cadres’ network strength to touch upon the entire society. Network utilization process begins with developing an effective communication channel in the network. Utilization of communication network in the cadre level is proposed for new community communication network. Utilization of communication network in recruitment of PKS cadres in South Sulawesi is very much influenced by many factors. One among other determinant factors is the cadres’ knowledge and therefore an education process is required for PKS cadres as a base for gaining knowledge and good conduct.
