Abstract
Trichoderma erinaceum and Trichoderma koningiopsis have the potential to produce lignocellulolytic enzymes, such as amylase and xylanase. Molds must grow in an ideal environment to support their metabolism, so research is needed to determine the temperature and pH of the mold growth environment and its correlation with the enzymes produced. The research was carried out in several stages, including 1) Testing the effect of temperature and pH on the growth of the mold isolates T. erinaceum and T. koningiopsis, 2) Testing the activity of amylase and xylanase enzymes on the best isolates resulting from variations in temperature and pH. The results showed that the best temperature for growth of T. erinaceum based on the calculation of diameter, density, and mycelium compactness was 25°C, while T. koningiopsis was 25-35°C. The best pH for growth of T. erinaceum based on the calculation of diameter, density, and mycelium compactness was 5-7, while T. koningiopsis was 7. At 25°C and pH 7, T. koningiopsis produced the highest amylase activity, while at 25°C and pH 5, T. erinaceum produced the highest xylanase activity. It is recommended to research the effect of parameters other than temperature and pH on the growth of Trichoderma spp. Trichoderma erinaceum dan Trichoderma koningiopsis berpotensi menghasilkan enzim lignoselulolitik, seperti amilase dan xilanase.
