PENGARUH PERSONAL BACKGROUND, POLITICAL BACKGROUND, PEMAHAMAN REGULASI TERHADAP PERAN ANGGOTA DPRD DALAM PENGAWASAN KEUANGAN DAERAH (Studi Kasus pada DPRD Kabupaten Boyolali)

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh personal background, political background, dan pemahaman regulasi terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fakta bahwa latar belakang individu akan berpengaruh ter-hadap perilaku individu dalam aktivitas politik. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini ada-lah peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Variabel independennya ada-lah tingkat pendidikan, bidang pendidikan, latar belakang pekerjaan, pengalaman di DPRD, asal parpol, asal komisi, dan pemahaman regulasi. Data dalam penelitian ini merupakan data primer yang diperoleh dari responden dan disebarkan secara langsung. Data yang berhasil dikumpulkan berasal dari 37 responden yang merupakan anggota DPRD Kabupaten Boy-olali. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diuji dengan menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa pertama, tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Kedua, bidang pendidikan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Ketiga, latar belakang pekerjaan berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Keempat, pengalaman di DPRD berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Kelima, asal parpol berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Keenam, asal komisi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Ketujuh, pemahaman regulasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. This study aims to examine the influence of personal background, political background, and understan-ding the regulation of the role of legislators in the area of financial supervision. This research background by the fact that the individual’s background will affect the behavior of individuals in political activity. Dependent variable in this study is the role of legislators in the area of financial supervision. The inde-pendent variable is the level of education, education, employment background, experience in Parliament, the origin of political parties, from the commission, and understanding of the regulation. The data in this study is the primary data obtained from respondents and distributed directly. Data collected from 37 respondents who are members of local parliament Boyolali. The hypothesis tested in this study by using multiple linear regression. These results indicate that the first, education level and no significant negative impact on the role of legislators in the area of financial supervision. Second, the field of education and no significant negative impact on the role of legislators in the area of financial supervision. Third, emp-loyment background and no significant positive effect on the role of legislators in the area of financial supervision. Fourth, the experience in the parliament have a positive and significant impact on the role of legislators in the area of financial supervision. Fifth, the origin of political parties have a positive and significant impact on the role of legislators in the area of financial supervision. Sixth, the origin of the commission have a positive and significant impact on the role of legislators in the area of financial supervision. Seventh, the understanding of the regulation has positive and significant impact on the role of legislators in the area of financial supervision.
