Survei Bakat Olahraga Pada Siswa Kelas VII Dan Kelas VIII Di SMP Negeri 2 NGadirejo Kabupaten Temanggung Tahun 2020

Abstrak

The development of sports in SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirejo is not good. Based on the results of POPDA in 2019 Temanggung Regency, only athletic sports that always win, while other sports have not won. The process of selecting children to take part in the competitions is only carried out during learning and extracurricular activities. The research objective: to determine the sports talents of students at SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirejo Temanggung Regency in 2020. The approach of this research used quantitative descriptive methods. The populations in this study were students of SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirejo, Temanggung Regency. The sampling technique which used by the researcher was a sampling quota. Data analysis in this study used a descriptive percentage. The data collection techniques used in this study were (1) searching for aptitude tests which used to determine the talents of students, (2) documentation which used to obtain a list of student names and photos during the test. From the results of data, it was found that there were 8 talents in sports consisting of: 15 students (26%) for achery, 14 students (24%) for diving, 18 students or 30% for lifting weights, 4students or 7% for shooting bullets, 4students (7%) for gymnastics, 1 student (2%) for high jumping, 1 student (2%) for long-distance running and 1 student (2%) for long jumping. The conclusion in SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirejo have various sports talents, but some of these potentials have not been developed properly. The researcher's suggestion is to optimize student achievement SMP Negeri 2 Ngadirejo Kabupaten Temanggung.
