Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the role of local governments in estab- community empowerment through the development of tourism in the district. West Halmahera and to determine the factors that affect the government's role in the creation-empowerment of communities through tourism development. The role of local government West Halmahera, in empowering communities through tourism development through the optimization of tourism information, optimization of attractions, community mobilization and management optimization tourism management. Factors that influence air in empowering communities through tourism development Panorama Disa Beach district. Sahu Halmahera district Barata among others, the promotional aspects and facets of society. Factors funding for tourism development is still minimal and do not yet have comprehensive guidelines.Keywords: empowerment, tourism, optimizationAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peranan pemerintah daerah dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan pariwisata di Kab. Halmahera Barat dan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peranan pemerintah daerah dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan pariwisata.Peran pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Halmahera Barat, dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan pariwisata dilakukan melalui optimalisasi informasi pariwisata, optimalisasi objek wisata, mobilisasi masyarakat dan optimalsiasi manajemen pengelolaan pariwisata. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan pariwisata Panorama Pantai Disa Kec. Sahu kabupaten Halmahera Barat yaitu antara lain aspek promosi dan aspek masyarakat. Faktor dana untuk pengembangan pariwisata masih minim dan belum memiliki pedoman yang komprehensif.Kata kunci: pemberdayaan, pariwisata, optimilisasi
