Abstract
Abstract Library was one of room that has potential indoor pollution by Aspergillus sp. as patoghenic mould. Incidence of Aspergillosis in the world reported was 13,456 cases in the period 2006-2015, increased 38.2% from the previous period. This research was conducted in 2017, with objective to determine association between physical environmental factors with the presence Aspergillus sp. in the library room at Universitas Negeri Semarang. The type of this research was analytic observational with cross sectional design. The sample size was 13 with purposive sampling technique. The instrumens used were questionaire, observational sheet, thermometer, hygrometer, luxmeter, and PDA medium. Data were analyzed by independent sample t test, mann whitney test, and fisher test. The result showed that p value of temperature (p=0,591), humidity (p=0,153), light intensity (p=0,242), ventilation system (p=0,231), density of the room (p=0,013), and room sanitation (p=0,293). The conclusion of this research was there was association between density of the room with the presence of Aspergillus sp. mould in the library room at Universitas Negeri Semarang.
