Abstract
Abstract Leptospirosis is an acute infection caused by Leptospira bacteria. One of the factors influencing the incidence of Leptospirosis in Gajahmungkur District of Semarang City 2014-2018 is environmental risk factor. This study aimed to explain the determination of vulnerability zone of Leptospirosis environmental risk factors in the form of existence of rat’s signs, water logged area after rain, the existence of river, temporary garbage disposal, and the existence of ditch in Gajahmungkur district area. It was a quantitative descriptive study using Geographic Information System (GIS) with environmental risk factors as objects. This study was conducted on May 2018. The results showed that the variables studied were occur in 3 urban villages,i.e. Sampangan, Bendan Ngisor and Bendan Duwur. They are highly full vulnerable to the spread of Leptospira bacteria in the environment. It can be concluded that the determination of vulnerability zone is evenly distributed throughout Gajahmungkur district. The presence of rats signs is an environmental risk factor that affects other variables. Keyword: Environmental factors, susceptibility zones, Leptospirosis
