Abstract

Abstract Backgroud: DHF cases of elementary school-aged children in the Working Area of Ambarawa Primary Health Care for 3 years have the highest percentage. In 2014 there were 27(48%) cases, 2015 were 34(52%) cases and in 2016 increased by 47(37%) cases. The preliminary survey on 5 elementary schools showed larvae density classified as high with a DF value of 8. Objective: To describe of Aedes aegypti Larvae Density Risk Factors in Elementary School. Method: This research was quantitative descriptive. Results: The total amount of 30 elementary school was taken with total sampling. This study was done on December 2018. The results showed that in 30 elementary schools were dominated by 100% controllable sites, 60% plastic container material, 66.7% small container water volume, 56.7% sufficient knowledge level, 86.7% good drain practice, good waste management practice (56.7 %), the practice of clearing landfill (53.3%) and the practice of school cleaning program was not routine (73.3%). Larvae density level in low categorized was 60%, and high 40%.
