Abstract

Kata Kunci: Atraktan, Cuka Hitam, Light Trap, Lalat Rumah ABSTRACT Based on the measurement of fly density used the fly grill in Sekaran, the density is 12 flies/blockgrill. It is indicated that the density of flies is high and needed effort to manage the population itself. To reduce the negative effects of insecticides employing, it is need to develop a method of houseflies management based on housefly. This research aims to know the effect of black vinegar attractants with concentration and duration of time on the number of flies trapped in the modified light trap. This research method is true experimental using post-test only with control group design. The research sample were adult houseflies which numbered 525. Data analysis was performed using computer programs in univariate and bivariate (normality test, homogeneity test and Kruskal Wallis test). The results showed that the total trapped was 310 hoseflies. Houseflies trapped in the modified light trap with 100% black vinegar attractant 21%, the modified light trap with 80% black vinegar attractant is 25%, the modified light trap with 40% black vinegar attractant is 17%, the modified light trap with 20% black vinegar attractant is 18%, while the modified light trap with distilled water 5%, brown sugar solution 11% and without attractant 3%. Therefore, it can be concluded that more houseflies are trapped in a modified light trap with black vinegar attractants than other attractants, with 80% concentrated black vinegar attractants trapped most of the houseflies.
