Abstract
This study aims to determine: (1) How does the spatial distribution of the affected areas ofseawater intrusion in the study area?. (2) What factors are influencing the occurrence ofseawater intrusion in the study area?. Sampling was conducted with a purposive samplingtechnique or a random sample of 30 well water samples and a population of 90 people. Methods of data collection by observation, interviews, documentation and test laboratories.Data analysis technique used is descriptive, comparative and overlay maps. The resultsshowed spatial disribusi affected areas of seawater intrusion in the study area can be dividedinto three zones, namely: (1) Zone are not affected by seawater intrusion area 2952.98 ha,(2) Zone to the influence of high seawater intrusion area of 2095.64 ha, (3) Zone with theinfluence of sea water intrusion is an area of 913.38 ha. So the study area affected byseawater intrusion area of 3009.02 ha or 50.47% of the study area. In the study of factorsaffecting seawater intrusion map overlay analysis is based on geological conditions in thealluvium material, geohidrologi conditions in shallow aquifers with productivity being, thecondition of ponds and land use areas with high population density. The distance from theshoreline tend not enough to affect the occurrence of seawater intrusion in the study area. This can be explained because there are a few samples away from the coastline but affectedby seawater intrusion and one sample near the shoreline but are not affected by seawaterintrusion.
