The research method used a qualitative approach with a sociological-legal perspective. Data collection techniques included interviews, documentation, and literature review. The results of this study show that the implementation of diversion in juvenile cases at the Jepara District Attorney's Office has been carried out in accordance with the Juvenile Criminal Justice System Law and applied from stage II through the trial process. However, its implementation has not been fully effective, as the study found that the District Attorney's Office's diversion efforts often fail. This is due to several factors that hinder diversion efforts. This study concludes that the success of diversion efforts depends on public awareness, as active participation is the key to restorative justice. Restorative justice encourages meetings between victims and perpetrators of crime to reach a fair agreement.
